Everything is tracking beautifully (no pun intended!) for Sunday November 20, as the Healesville Amateur Racing Club (HARC) presents the 2nd Music at The Healesville Track Music Festival.

and selected outlets in the Yarra Valley, all that’s left for you to do now is to mark the date in your calendar and get ready for a fantastic day of entertainment!

The event is all about families – HARC has kept ticket prices at an incredibly low price so the whole family can enjoy the day including providing very reasonably priced food and drink for you to purchase on site. (BYO food is allowed.) Strictly No Glass allowed.

We’re thrilled at the fantastic lineup we’ve assembled for the inaugural event. There’s a range of musical styles over the 8 hours – from the legendary Black Sorrows and the country stylings of Greg Champion - through to one of Australia’s greatest ever song writers – John Schumann (Ex-Redgum) playing with an equally great band – The Vagabond Crew (Including another Ex-Redgum member – Hugh McDonald.)  to amazing story songs from Australian music legends Shane Howard and Mick Thomas and of course festival favourite Damian Howard with his band. They will be also joined by the Rebecca Barnard Trio (Who can forget Rebeccas Empire from back in the 90′s.) and Monique Brumby. There’s also lots of great free kids activities over the day and plenty to keep the whole family entertained.

We’re running two stages side by side plus our Live and local stage, so there will be continuous entertainment throughout the day. All the headline acts are locked in, but we’re still finalising a few of the other bands – we expect there to be more than 25 artists performing throughout the day by the time we’re done, as well as heaps of things to keep the younger ones occupied (did we mention the kids’ activities?) :)
